ABOUT THE SINGER

Biography

Wolter Bosch is a Dutch singer-songwriter from Amsterdam. His emotional, melancholic songs are based on acoustic guitar and can best be described as acoustic alternative rock, touching on American folk. His music draws influences from a plethora of great artists like Eddie Vedder, Alice in Chains and other grunge-era artists, but also from artists like Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Tom Petty and alt-country act Cracker. 
Writing and performing as a solo artist is a new step for Wolter, who up until 2020 has only been active in - mainly very heavy - bands. Fronting Dutch metal act Intrusion, he learned how to captivate an audience and as guitarist of Black Sabbath tribute Sack Blabbath he did so with his riffing and soloing Tony Iommi-style.
This time, all that heavyness is left behind and is replaced by more intimate and melancholy-filled songs. His debut album 'Fill the Cracks with Gold', on which he plays all the instruments, was self-recorded and self-produced at his home studio, even handling the mixing and mastering himself. It makes it an ultimate twentyfirst century DIY-statement.
The Album is filled with 11 songs that will get under your skin with beautiful melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Grab a pack of tissues however, because this is no feelgood music.
